Project Description

The 30Mℓ/d upgrade of the Sunderland Ridge WWTW Activated Sludge Treatment Plant will comprise of the following:

• Inlet Works-Sludge Dewatering Building-Primary Settling Tank-Sludge Drying Beds-Biological Nutrient Removal Reactor-Inter connecting Pipework-Secondary Clarifiers-PumpStations-Chlorination Contact Tank-Precipitation Reactor and Filtrate-Anaerobic Digesters-Thickeners-Phosphate Release Tank and Thickeners

Scope of Services

R&R were the Principal Civil and Structural Engineers on the Project. We were responsible for conceptual, preliminary and detail design, compilation of procurement documentation and construction monitoring.
